“ In Milwaukie? Need coffee? You have to stop by MC&B. This was my first time and it did not disappoint. This place takes what they put out to their customers to heart. From the hand made vanilla syrup (a must for a morning latte) to their exceptional biscuits sandwiches. Their food is super hearty, flavorful, and made with care. Friendly staff and street parking. Come. Sip. Enjoy. ”
“ So yummy! Ordered the brisket polenta, and it was absolutely delicious. Creamy polenta, flavorful collards, and really tender and substantial slices of brisket. Was very filling. Also had a few bites of my friend’s monkey bread, and would highly recommend. It’s a cute, local spot that I will happily return to for lunch the next time I’m in the area. ”
“ Holy moly these are next level breakfast sandwiches! You can get a breakfast sandwich that suits anyone from ones that read more like a sandwich on a biscuit to others with the straight up breakfast basics. We had such a hard time deciding in the best way. We went with a smoked chicken sandwich that had arugula, fried onions, and just a whole bevy of other great things not including egg which we don’t eat and we’re excited to see wasn’t included. we also went for some of the sides and loved the grits and quadruple love the collard greens. I can’t wait to try more items atthis spot. ”
“ I visited here last week because I was in the area and craving a coffee. I wasn't planning on getting breakfast, but their options looked so good that I needed to try the special they had (Asparagus Polenta bowl with egg, bacon lardons, roasted garliccaper aioli, provolone cheese, all with crispy fried onions on top). Um... holy sh*t. One bite and I was transported. Probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The polenta was perfectly creamy, the aioli (for me, a mayo hater) was so tangy, asparagus juicy and clearly very fresh, bacon lardons super crispy and good quality ... ahhh I wish I could eat that breakfast over and over again. A little pricey but I was very glad I decided to treat myself. Oh, and the drip coffee came with refills and it was very good. And the hot sauce I asked for was also delicious. Servers were very friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely with all the natural light. I can't wait to eat here again. ”
“ My favorite place to eat breakfast in Milwaukee. Everything we've tried has been delicious, but I have a hard time not ordering the brisket polenta bowl with collard greens. Then I add one egg ontop cooked over medium and it's always cooked perfectly. ”
“ We absolutely love this spot. The food is excellent, the prices are INCREDIBLE for the amount of food you get (we often split one dish and get a pastry on the side), and the people here are the absolute best. Pictured are the last vestiges of our “Smash Hash” special— beautiful brisket with smashed potatoes, excellent sauce, and veggies. ”
“ I genuinely started getting tears from this experience. Amazing food. Amazing music. Perfect lighting. Excellent art. Amazing customer service. I WILL be returning. This is now my favorite breakfast place in the entirety of Portland. Thank you. ”
“ The food was Amazing ! Brisket was the softest brisket I’ve had in a while . The sweet potato hash was perfect . Seasoning was well balanced , and the portions were really good for the price . We found our breakfast spot ! ”
